Inside Sales Rep

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible to generate sales of residential lawn care services to new and existing clients through inbound and outbound contact. 

Most of your day will consist of soft outreach to existing clients and fielding inbound calls and website leads to engage in sales conversations over the phone and email. At certain times, you may also be responsible to participate in door-knocking campaigns in targeted neighborhoods.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • You will be responsible for selling our programs and services to current and prospective clients through means of phone calls, email & texting to explain the applications and programs and offers.
  • You will be responsible to achieve specific key performance metrics such as:
    • Inbound and outbound prospecting activity & sales goals.
    • Upselling & cross-selling goals.
    • Setting the proper expectations with clients and staying below a targeted client cancel percentage.
    • Achieving and maintaining a target closing percentage.
  • In addition to fielding inbound calls, you also will be responsible to make outbound prospecting calls for the purpose of identifying and closing new clients.
  • Types of outbound calls:
    • Introduction to newly assigned clients.
    • Follow up on unsold estimates.
    • Win back clients that have canceled service.
    • Make outbound contact with clients for the purpose of upselling and cross-selling programs and applications through leveraging technician and customer service observations and information.
  • Scrubbing the CRM database ensuring contact data and the next steps are up to date.
  • Answering questions to overcome resistance and objections; quoting prices, negotiating with clients, and closing the sale.
  • Entering client information into our CRM database and maintaining accurate sales reports.
  • Communicate and collaborate with customer service and field technicians in an effort to identify and pursue additional business.
