Landscaping Crew Leader

Grassperson is an award winning, full service landscape company in Lewisville, TX and we are looking for experienced Team Leaders and Drivers. Our business is growing fast and we offer great long-term opportunities for the right candidates. The ideal candidates will possess a working knowledge of outdoor power equipment to include: mowers, line trimmers, edgers, chain saws, gas powered trimmers, sod cutters, pruning saws and blowers. Must be able to manage a crew of up to 3 landscape technicians, lift 50 lbs., work outdoors and be able to train and oversee employees to company performance standards.

We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in landscape installation and maintenance. Career growth opportunities are available for the right candidates. Must have valid Texas Driver License and a good driving record, bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ornamental tree and shrub trimming
• Mulch and seasonal color installation
• Drainage system installation
• Landscape installation- Shrubs, flower beds, sod, trees, hardscapes
• Willing to work in varying weather conditions

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Driver license
• 4+ years of relevant lawn maintenance and/or landscape maintenance experience
• Knowledge of plant materials and landscape installation
• Bilingual – English/Spanish
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Must be able to operate a mid-size truck, and learn to operate motorized equipment
• Work effectively with office personnel and team members
• Punctual, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks without immediate supervision.

Salary: $15.00 to $17.00 /hour – Depending On Experience
